Love’s Greek to Me (2023) HD The third best thing about this film is the gorgeous backdrop of Santorini, Greece, and its sharing of Greek traditions. From the evil eye to the myths of Aphrodite, Eros and Psyche, to the Greek wedding customs in a beautiful Greek Orthodox Church…it’s so warm and loving. As I am not Greek and have many Greek friends. I can relate to Ilana’s experience and think Tory DeVitto’s sweet and gentle approach to sharing tradition is perfect. I think the fact that her character has an archaeological background is ingenious in the plot. It gave her knowledge of Ancient Greece and Greek Mythology… So she wasn’t just standing there acting dumb non-Greek. (One of my secret pets)
